Portfolio > New York Landscapes

I spent the summer of 2015 teach the visual arts in the small town of Warrensburg New York, in the lower adirondack mountains along the Hudson river.. I was drawn to the landscapes of the area more than anything else, It seemed foreign, almost alien, with the curves, slopes, hills that are rarely found in Florida. The absence of the man made augmentation of the land (although present) seemed minimized, with much of the land being created from the forces of water in the form of rain, ice, and snow over years. This set of images explores my understanding of the space as it was perceived in the area around Warrensburg New York.
